With all the Nate Diaz hype going on lately, Khabib Nurmagomedov has decided to give his 2 cents on what he thinks of the Diaz brother. Here are some quotes from his interview with Sports.ru.
“[Diaz] thinks he’s cool or something there,” Khabib told Sports.ru. “But I believe I have more spirit and courage, and I can prove it anywhere. Of course, I did not want to do it on the street. I am a professional fighter. But when we were in street fight, it was self-defense. I am a Samboist and Sambo is all “self-defense without weapons,” so I just defended myself.”
“I do not see anyone who could get into my head. For all the 27 years that I have lived, I fought on the street when I was young, and competed with all the best fighters in the world. For me, someone wants to fight, not a problem, I’m psychologically balanced in terms of spirit will not lose to anyone.”
Take a look back at the WSOF event where the Diaz Brothers went to war outside the cage with Khabib. It all started off with a “Stockton Slap”.
Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov were arguing face to face for about a good 20-30 seconds before Nate let off a Slap that was so loud, most of the arena turned to see what it was. It literally sounded like a gun shot went off in the arena. All I could see from that point is chaos. At this point is where the video begins, check it out.
